Peech Development, based in Asheville, NC and the founders of the Amazing Pubcycle and Escape the Conundrum (escape-room adventure), we are excited to get things moving with SummerXCamp 2016 at Camp Ton-O-Wondah in Hendersonville, NC.
Why SummerXCamp
So many of us experienced summer camp when we were children. Now our own children are at the age of attending summer camps during the summer. We looked around at other adventures and most of them appeared to provide a fun time, but they seemed to be missing something.
We didn't want to create an old-school summer camp experience or require our guest to put their cell phones in a plastic bag for the weekend and locked up in a locker. We wanted to bring an entirely different element to summer camp, which included comedy, adventure and outlandish fun. We wanted to bring elements of the Asheville area to the party by adding local microbreweries, local musicians, and comedians to the fun.
What is SummerXCamp
Imagine your childhood summer camp fun, but add one of those adventure races you watch on TV with just crazy fun and party type of activities in an adult only environment. We will provide the fun, the party, beer, wine, food, and sleeping accommodations for everyone. We also believe in choice, if you want to tent camp, we have that option too. If you want to gather seven of your friends and rent an entire camp cabin for the weekend and compete as a team, that is an option too. Did I mention competition? Yes, this includes games! We are still firming up the competitions, but ideas MAY involve mud, water, and even bubbles....
What to Expect
You should expect the most amazing weekend experience you have had in your adult life. We know how to entertain people....that is what we do for a living at the Amazing Pubcycle in Asheville. We know how to create the mystery (we do that for work as well at the Escape the Conundrum too). You should expect to have fun, enjoy some included beer and wine, eat, compete and maybe even sleep a little bit. We will have yoga, and other relaxing activities for the little downtime we have planned.
When do tickets go on sale
Tickets are on sale now... We have some early bird deals and group discounts if you get them soon enough. Our prices are very reasonable compared to those other adventure activities, live entertainment and here at SummerXCamp, we are rolling it all into one...We are a summer camp on steriods.
